Rajendran's Green Diwali is not just a celebration; it's a movement towards a sustainable and eco-friendly future. Before the festivities commence, we organize an impactful awareness programme for our students. Through interactive sessions and presentations, we enlighten our young minds about the importance of celebrating a pollution-free Diwali.

Diwali could be vibrant and joyous without harming the environment. As torchbearers of change, we advocate saying NO to firecrackers. Instead, we embrace creative and exciting alternatives to light up our celebrations. From beautiful earthen lamps to mesmerizing eco-friendly decorations, we showcase how small choices can make a big difference. At Rajendran's, we cherish every effort towards a Green Diwali. Students who actively participate in eco-friendly celebrations by refraining from bursting crackers are awarded exciting trips and movie outings. This motivates and inspires our young learners to be responsible stewards of the environment. Together, we become ambassadors of change, fostering a culture of sustainability and environmental consciousness.

LWN (Living With Nature)

The best education goes beyond the confines of a classroom, and it's a way of life at our school. As part of our commitment to holistic education, we instill in our students a deep appreciation for the environment. Through this curriculum, we aim to nurture their sense of wonder and foster a lifelong bond with nature. That's why we take great pride in our Living with Nature Programme, a unique and essential part of our curriculum. Since its inception, this has been a transformative journey for our students, starting from grade four and beyond. With a focus on immersing our students in the beauty of the natural world, we also ensure that our teachers are equipped to guide and inspire them. We recognize that teachers play a vital role in shaping young minds. To ensure a meaningful impact on our students, we provide comprehensive training to our teachers. They are equipped with the knowledge and skills to guide the students' exploration, encourage curiosity, and cultivate an understanding of the interconnectedness of all living beings.

At the Nature Education Camp, our students learn from the greatest teacher of all - Mother Nature. They observe the intricacies of ecosystems, understand the delicate balance of biodiversity, and witness the beauty and resilience of the natural world. Mother Child Trips

The Mother-Child Trip is more than just a vacation; it's a journey of love and understanding
The essence of family and the beauty of togetherness offer a unique experience that sets us apart: the mother-child trip. The Mother-Child Trip provides a platform for mothers to nurture their relationships and create unforgettable memories. In a fast-paced world, we understand the demands on both mothers and children. The trip is a delightful break from the ordinary, offering respite from daily routines and busy schedules.

Specialized Counsellor

We provide specialized counseling support for students, teachers, and parents as part of our academic activities. The counsellor collects complete information about the child in need of help, whether academic or emotional. The counsellor observes the child’s area of concern to understand the issue. Once the issue is identified, a behavior management programme is prepared to address the child's concern. All information about the child and the documentation is maintained confidentially by the counsellor.

Waste management

Our waste management system is a powerful step towards sustainability. We segregate waste into - plastic (non-biodegradable) and paper (biodegradable). The distinct properties of these materials ensure efficient recycling and up cycling. We encourage the students to actively participate in waste management. We ask the children to bring plastic waste from their surroundings. The collected plastic waste becomes a valuable resource in our eco-friendly initiatives. This hands-on experience teaches them practical skills, nurtures their creativity, and shows them the positive impact of recycling on the environment.Our unique waste management practices have a ripple effect on the community. By involving families and encouraging responsible waste disposal at home, we extend our impact beyond the school walls.

Green Canteen

Our School Green Canteen promotes a healthy lifestyle and well-being among our students. The Green Canteen is a vibrant and refreshing space where we prioritize nutritious options and cultivate good eating habits. Our canteen is a celebration of health, taste, and responsible choices, where only fruits and a wide array of healthy food items are offered, and junk food is strictly banned. It is entirely managed by students from our Commerce department. A canteen run by school children is an exciting and educational initiative that allows students to gain practical experience in managing food services and financial operations. Here, we believe that healthy bodies lead to healthy minds, and our canteen plays a crucial role in ensuring that students receive the nutrients they need to excel academically and in every aspect of life.
