RAFL History

• With the blessings of Swamy Chinmayananda, our founder Mr.S.K.R.Rajendran dreamt and established a school in his own village Vadugapatti in the year 1987. He had a vision of the school to be an example of all forms of learning. We are proud to showcase a platform with traditional customs and culture along with holistic education for all children. Understanding is different from knowledge.

• While knowledge relies on memory, understanding relies on conceptual clarity. “Education should foster real Understanding” – so we train teachers to treat all children by understanding their emotions and their mental ability. We also believe that each child is unique, so we try to focus on their individual talent to make them excel.

• We provide them with various activities like Chess, Art & Craft, Dance, Silambam, Keyboard, Drums, Rifle Shooting Club, Karate, Scouts, Guides, Band etc., Moreover for their personal growth we provide them with time to time training on Personality development, Career Guidance, Clubs Activities, Workshops, Field trips etc., Adding to the above, for children to have experiential learning, we provide Smart Class and Computer classes, Project works for them to kindle Creative thinking.

• To compete with professional courses, we train students for IIT and NEET. To make them have a touch with nature we encourage them with activities through “Living with Nature” and “Skills for adolescence”. To make them have balance physically, mentally and emotionally, we help them practise yoga.

• At this juncture, we would like to share to you that Real understanding is through integrated approach in learning and teaching. So let Parents and Teachers join hands in uplifting a child to find their real place in the society and life. So we are sure all parents will understand this is a joint effort to build child's career. Thank you.
