CBSE envisions the all-around development of students in consonance with the holistic approach to education. The recent focus of CBSE is on the development of 21st-century skills where each student feels independent, safe, and comfortable with their learning. In alignment with the competencies outlined by CBSE, our school encompasses the following at various levels:
In kindergarten, there has been a shift of focus in the learning domains from specific subjects and content such as English,
Math and Concept to specific skills such as Personal , Social, Emotional, Physical, Language, Mathematical, Creative and
Enquiry skills. Our well-designed Montessori Programme is based on the BEST Montessori practices. Our exceptional curriculum
supports a happy learning environment, emphasizing Multiple Intelligence and Futuristic pedagogy. This is a child-led hands-on
approach, where the role of the teacher is only as a facilitator who observes, probes students’ thinking, listens to their
questions and stories, finds what interests them and provides them with a range of materials and opportunities to explore
these interests further. Nature walk, clay and sand pit , hands on activities, indoor and outdoor gross motor activities
are a part of everyday school activity.
For this age group, we emphasise on academics and also sports and skill-based activities to help students improve their
social skills and participation abilities. Primary education not only focuses on reading and writing, but also stresses
upon the need for proper cleanliness and nutrition. Students are introduced to various facets of art through materials,
audio visuals, music and movement. A rich co-curricular programme forms an integral part of the primary school curriculum.
Field visits, Subject Enrichment Activities (SEA) and stage performances widen their learning whereas Science and Mathematics
labs cater to the development of a scientific temper. A learning support programme is organized on a regular basis to academically
support students in need.
Our secondary curriculum is based on team work where the teachers are the facilitators for group discussions,
projects as well as hands-on activities and experimentation. Emphasis is laid on ‘learning by doing’ through
INFOSPARK (Annual event showcasing Beyond the Book learning experience) rather than on rote-learning. Project
based learning, field trips and educational trips aid better understanding of concept. Foundation courses and
skill subjects are introduced to gratify the needs of the present world. To satisfy the curiosity, inquisitiveness
and aiming at excellence, we provide an atmosphere to pursue individual interests and focus on their eventual
career choices. Students become confident, responsible, reflective, innovative, engaged and ready to tackle the
demands of tomorrow’s world, capable of shaping a better world for the future.
